On February 10, 2025, during his opening speech at the Rotary International Assembly, Rotary International President-Elect (RIPE) Mário César Martins de Camargo highlighted the Irrigation Project of RC Lampung Raden Intan, a Global Grant (GG) initiative aimed at supporting rice field irrigation.
This recognition marks a proud moment for Rotary District 3410 and Indonesia as a whole, as RIPE Mario drew inspiration from this impactful project. The Pride Project of RID3410 has now gained international attention, showcasing how Rotary clubs in Indonesia are driving sustainable development and improving agricultural livelihoods through innovative and collaborative efforts.
Indonesia can take pride in this acknowledgment, as it demonstrates how local projects can inspire global action and embody Rotary’s commitment to creating lasting change.
