AG Thomas Wagner, last night at RC Kebayoran, I mistakenly invited AG Myra Panjaitan from Area 53, although she is from Area 53, while RC Kebayoran is in Area 51 under your jurisdiction. I apologize for the misunderstanding; I was looking at the AG List Table.
Thank you to AG Myra for attending the event at Pandor last night despite your busy schedule. I truly admire you as a People of Action—thank you.
For the future, AG Thomas, please assist President Fedie, who still needs guidance but is enthusiastic about revitalizing Kebayoran to its former vibrancy, as it was decades ago when it was one of only two clubs in Jakarta besides RC Jakarta.
Last night, Dasril Guntara, a graduate of FISIP UI and a researcher from the World Bank based in SCBD Jakarta, visited RC Kebayoran as a guest. He has been heavily involved in post-tsunami relief efforts with UMCOR in Aceh and is keen on becoming a philanthropist. His statement last night was truly inspiring and reaffirmed to me that Rotary is still valued in Indonesia, especially among the younger generation. It highlighted that there is still much service we need to accomplish. I hope President Fedie’s introduction to him will lead to a realistic addition of members to our district. I greatly appreciate the efforts of the Rotary International Membership Development Team for referring Dasril Guntara to our district.
Best regards,
DG Daniel
