Rotary Club of Jakarta Batavia held dinner meeting with Nurse Rina Wahyuni, Nursing Manager from Rachel House as our Guest Speaker.
Nurse Rina shared about Palliative care, a specialized medical care for people with serious illnesses and their families. It relieves the patient’s pain and symptoms, and provides emotional, social, and spiritual support for the patient and their family members. The goal of palliative care is to improve the quality of life of the seriously ill and to support their family. And making sure patients are living free from pain, with the best possible quality of life and with their needs met.
We very humbled to received and discussed about Palliative care with Nurse Rina. We hoped we can arrange collaboration in the future.
